Appalachian Echoes is a three-hour, weekly syndicated radio program that highlights the talented artists, songwriters and musicians with ties to Appalachia, as well as the vibrant and growing genre of Americana music which often features the echoes of Appalachian influence. The show focuses on predominantly independent artists and music often overlooked by commercial radio playlists, and fuels a sense of listener loyalty based on home place pride.

Way more prestigious than American Idol. Hundreds braved the ice and cold in Nashville today to “audition” for country superstar Luke Combs and comedian Druski today in Nashville. Audition for what? I’m so glad you asked. If you’re not familiar with Druski, he’s the comedian behind hilarious skits like the one he released a few weeks ago mocking megachurch pastors, and his hilarious sketch going undercover as a white man at a NASCAR race.
