Lance Cowan – The Air That You Breathe I’ve reviewed the critically acclaimed Nashville-based singer-songwriter Lance Cowan’s work in the past but always try to assess the newest with a fresh look. Patrick McCormic – Crisis of Confidence It’s always a pleasure to hear a set of songs begin with a singer with a diversified voice who doesn’t sound like dozens of other singers & wannabes. Patrick has a cool-effecting vocal that begins with the title track Crisis of Confidence (Drops July 24/Independent/41:43) produced by Jim Reilley. […]

This record and the songs on it are so good, you’re a little mad about it. You’re not mad that theses songs are finally seeing the light of day. You’re ecstatic about that. You’re angry that it took so long. But there’s no looking this gift horse in the mouth.

It’s not safe for work, and it’s definitely not safe for your grandma. This afternoon, Kacey Musgraves released the music video for her fan-favorite song “Mexico Honey,” which was included on her Middle Of Nowhere album that was released in May. The Red Clay Strays continue to knock their social media content out of the park. Nowadays, modern artists and bands have two things to focus on: their actual music and their online presence. Things aren’t as simple as they used to be, and social media is a never-ending beast. If artists aren’t trying to use the platform to rocket themselves to stardom, they are making sure they stay consistent with posting to maintain the stardom they’ve already achieved. It can […]

Sounds like Days of Thunder 2 is actually in the works and moving forward. According to the Hollywood Reporter, a Days of Thunder sequel officially has the green light, or the green flag, I guess, and will be directed by Jonathan Levine, with Tom Cruise once again set to star in the movie, as he did the original. There have been plenty of rumors swirling over the last several months that a Days of Thunder remake is on the horizon, […]
